This year GMM TV blessed all BL fans around the world with many Thai series. This winter GMM TV is back with a beautiful heartwarming and fun series called Cherry Magic. Fans are loving the drama from its first episode.
The series was originally adapted from a Japanese manga series ‘Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?’ by Toyota Yuu. The Thai version of the drama is directed by X Nuttapong Mongkolsawas, and the main cast of the drama is Tya and New.

This office romance drama tells the story of Achi, who is a simple boy. He is an introvert and always lives his life in a shell. But as he grew up, he realized that he had a peculiar power to read people’s minds. He avoids reading other’s minds but his job requires him to socialize.
Things get more complicated when he falls into the trap of his colleague Karan. But this is not only, he soon realizes that Karan has developed feelings for him. Achi tries to create distance between them, but Karan is stuck to Achi.
Recap
The first episode of Cherry Magic starts with an introduction to the life of Achi, who is about to turn 30 years old in a few months. He will be reminded by his aunt that he is 30 now but he thinks this age of 30 is burdensome of him since this is the age he should be promoted to a job and have a new car.
Achi is the administrator head of the office, who has been working for the company for a long time now. His boss introduces him to their new rookie employee Rock, who is bubbly and talkative at the same time. Later they head to the Employee of the Year award ceremony.
Karan the handsome and charming employee was awarded the award, while Karan was giving his speech, Achi realised how they joined at the same time but he was still far away from Karan. Tho both were quite close during their rookie days with the promotion of Karan the distance between them has created a lot.
Mr. Idia who came from Japan to attend the award ceremony is a very influential person. He meets Achi and advises him that at the age of 30, he will have more opportunities and he should not let them go away.
Achi starts thinking about how he should start his 30s life but the next morning he wakes up only to find that he can hear what the other person is thinking in their mind.
Achi rushes to the office to avoid hearing anything. But he bumps into Karan, who, in a friendly tone, greets him and asks if he would like to take the stairs, but Achi refuses. Achi and Karan take the elevator but soon it gets filled with many people.
Achi between so many voices hears Karan’s thought who was thinking ‘He is cute’ but Achi thoughts he is complimenting someone else. But when Achi and Karan are pushed by the crowd, Achi hears Karan’s thoughts ‘But Achi looks cute even closer’.
Things get funnier when Achi realizes that Karna has had a crush on Achi for a very long time and that he thinks himself dumb for not confessing to Achi. Meanwhile, Achi is confused and doesn’t trust his ears anymore.
