If there is anything happens in a journey, it is the fact that the people involved in the journey deepen their bond, and the latest episode of the series saw just about that as Frieren’s party had some time to deepen their relationship before going to their next journey.

So with that being said, here we bring you the latest Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End anime updates.
Recap
While fans were excited to explore Sein’s character more, the latest episode instead saw a romantic development in the party, with Fren and Stark being the center of the attention. The former is mad at Stark as he has forgotten to give her a birthday and it was easy for the new party member to deduce that Fren being mad at Stark was born out of her affection for Stark.
In response to Fren being mad, Start gets her a gift which is the bracelet to represent young love which has the former annoyed yet very happy, and she accepts it gladly. This banter reminds the titular protagonist about when Himmel gave her a ring which was also a romantic gesture.
Considering how Frieren and Himmel never ever got the chance to be with each other, the former’s immortality is what makes it even sad for her.
Expectations
Now that the party members have had some time to realize their friendship with each other, it is time for a new adventure. The journey through the North will continue, but we are not sure what exactly awaits our travelers.
We were counting on the last episode to narrate Sein’s dynamic with the party as he is a new member, but the episode instead focused on some other matters. Thus, we are expecting the upcoming episode to shed some light on it instead.
Also, considering how the events from the latest few episodes of the series have been episodic, we are expecting a big arc again in the series as party members make their journey memorable.
