In the previous chapter of Serena, it was finally revealed that Serenity’s painting was authentic, unlike what Dia had boldly claimed. It was a huge mess between Dia and Serena, although anyone could tell that the matter was not only for the painting. The two had another personal fight motivating their actions.
Dia really couldn’t digest the fact that Serena was married to the guy she loved, even though she was the one to throw him aside first. Well, Dia’s father was just worried that the relationship between his gallery and Serenity Hotel was ruined and tried to make amends to salvage the situation.
She did refuse the offer, but he was actually impressed by her maturity instead. He offers to let Serena buy it fairly so that she won’t feel burdened. He also commented that he hoped his daughter would be as mature as Serena, and Dia could hear it all from outside.
She was definitely angry hearing her father compare her to Serena and say he wished she was like Serena. Well, she was also more worried about Eiser hating her even more than he already did now that she had messed with his wife. She just couldn’t digest the fact that Serena was more mature than she had thought.
Eiser comes and grabs Serena’s hand once she goes outside. He looked pretty irritated that she had hurt herself again, and he said he didn’t want her to get harmed again. The two share a passionate moment filled with genuine worry and love, but of course, Serena gets embarrassed and shrugs him off.
