Bringing together celebrities from all over the region to have them hide their identities and sing for the panel and the audience for a competition reality show is the American series called The Masked Singer. The show has been airing its tenth season since 2019, but it is always exciting to guess who is behind the mask.
The multi-talented Nick Cannon, along with singer-songwriter, Robin Thicke, famous radio and television figure, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, comedian Ken Jeong, and artist Nicole Scherzinger have all come back for their position on the show as the host and judging panel.
The show is popular for bringing on surprise guests for every episode, bringing on famous actor, comedian, and host, David Spade for the first episode of this new season. Keeping the format similar to much of the reality shows out there, The Masked Singer brings out celebrities covered head to toe for a singing competition where the one who manages to keep their position till the end wins.
To keep the excitement around the show going, the producers have introduced smackdowns, wild card entries, battle royales, and other interesting corners over the show. We get to witness ‘theme nights’ where the celebrities have to dress in a costume aligning with the theme. The last episode’s theme was ‘I wanna rock’.
The show takes immense care in keeping the identity of the celebrities, who sign up to be a part of the show, hidden. With nine episodes done, the celebrities who have lost the competition have had their identities exposed, and fans have had fun finding out who was who.

Recap
We started this season with a total of sixteen contestants going up against each other in groups of three, and now, with the finale approaching soon, we are left with only six left. We are left with Anteater, Candelabra, Cow, Donut, Gazelle, and Sea Queen competing for the final victory, and it is getting exciting for us.
The last episode, the ninth one, saw a guest performance by Bret Michaels, who performed Poison’s Nothin’ But A Good Time. This performance was followed by almost-perfect performances by Tiki, Husky, and Sea Queen. While we thought that the three could not have been better, the judges had to make a call, and it was Husky who ended up getting eliminated.
While this satisfied our curiosity about Husky’s identity, who turned out to be the talented R&B singer-songwriter, Ginuwine, his fans were disappointed too. The battle royale took place between Tiki and Sea Queen, and when we tell you the tension could not have been higher between the two.
The two sang the Poison’s song that our guest, Bret Michaels did, and it was Tiki who lost and had their identity revealed. Tiki turned out to be Sebastian Bach, a singer you may know from the rock band, Skid Row.
Release Date & Where to Watch
The producers of the show plan on releasing a special episode for the season titled, Holiday Sing-Along, which, according to the name suggests, will be all about the holidays. This episode will drop on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, and will be followed by the release of the official tenth episode, ‘Soundtrack To My Life’, on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023.
The hour-long episode will be the penultimate one, after which all we will be left with will be the release of the finale, which is set for release on Wednesday, December 20th, 2023.
