The latest Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 was no doubt one of the best anime episodes we have seen so far. The new episodes of the series are ready to be better than the previous episode and it is true for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20. This episode was filled with pure energy and for the first time in a while, Yuji has a true hope in taking down Mahito.
Aoi Todo’s unexpected entrance was undoubtedly one of the best scenes in the entire episode. As our protagonist was lying down with losing the hope of stopping Mahito considering how the latter had toyed with our protagonist, Aoi Todo’s surprising entrance had saved the day.
Besides showcasing Todo’s amazing entrance, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20 also featured the amazing Black Falsh, a cursed technique used not once, twice but a total of three times in the episode. Fans were really surprised to see Mahito using Black Flash after killing Nobara right away as the cursed spirit felt that he was ready to use it more than ever.
While this had impacted Yuji, the episode then went on to see the development for the second Black Flash. This second Black Flash was an amazing build-up for Yuji to get back in the fight as he showed his resolve to live as a sorcerer and take down the cursed spirit in front of him. It is by far the best Black Flash used by Yuji so far.
Moving forward towards the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20, Todo was feeling left behind as he saw that not only did Yuji use a Black Flash but Mahito had used a Black Flash as well and thus not wanting to be left out and not leave Yuji alone, Todo had used a Black Flash as well.

A 19-Year-Old Beautifully animates the Todo’s Black Flash moment
Fans were hyped after seeing Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20 which showcased many great sequences and the one that stands out at the top is no doubt the Todo’s Black Flash. Fans had asked who was in charge of doing this work.
The praises for this particular work circulated around the internet, particularly on X formerly known as “Twitter” and the animators received some amazing phrases and fans were particularly interested in knowing who did Todo’s Black Flash.
With the words around the animators, a day and a half after the release of the episode, fans got the answer to the question as the animator who goes by the name of Kouichi Akahiro, used their Twitter handle to answer all the questions they possibly could.
Kouichi Akahiro’s Response Towards the Praise They Have Gotten
Mr. Akahiro starts explaining this situation with how they have been getting praised for their work with videos and comments all over the internet. Kouichi’s colleagues were also encouraging them to come out and address this amazing response, and Kouichi did that.
In a Twitter thread, Mr. Akahiro says that they would like to introduce themselves because of all the praises and comments that they have received on X. This thread then consumes a post with some raw work on Todo’s Black Flash.
But it was surprising to see how this had all been worked and Mr. Akahiro sure has humor around it. Mr. Akahiro opens their introduction by saying that their favorite actress is Emma Stone. This is indeed important to the whole Jujutsu Kaisen fandom and Todo’s fans to resemble the character.
They go on to talk about how they would like to thank their friends from the Mappa studio as it is work that they had put out together. It includes an incident on how they fell ill but their friends from the Mappa Studio rushed to their house to finish working on the sequence.

Akahiro adds that this work has been the fruit of blood, sweat, tears, and friendship and thus, they would like the fans to take a moment to appreciate it.
The Twitter thread then includes comments from the senior animators from the Mappa studio and how proud they are to have worked with a 19-year-old Talent.
Praise from the Colleagues
A senior animator at Mappa Studio also commented on this sequence as they also talked about the amazing talent Koucihi has.
The senior named Tokuno says “Mr. Akahiro is a 19-year-old animator who has the power to create such hyper-like animations. All of the creators involved in Jujutsu were extremely young and had overwhelming talent, which was extremely stimulating. I’m looking forward to the future of everyone involved!”
The words of praise from Akahiro conclude that it is not only Mr. Akahiro who has a talent at the Studio but there are many who have invested their talent out of their passion. Passion breeds hard work and dedication and it is no wonder that every Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 20 has been amazing.
Another animator at the studio had to say something about the young talent and how they love the involvement of the younger generation in this amazing field.
This thread concludes with a comment from this particular animator named Murata, who had a funny story. But their praise went on to say how scary it is for them when a nineteen-year-old creator comes to the scene to showcase their talent.
Murata kun ends their comment on Kouichi’s work by saying that they are filled with joy and excitement to see such young talents and cannot wait to see them evolve every time.
While Mappa may have been overworking their Animators, we have to praise them for bringing such an amazing talent to the scenarios. But it still does not justify how they have been overworking their talents. Nevertheless, we are more than happy to shed light on such talent and stories.

Fans Compare Todo’s Black Flash To All Might
Mr. Akahiro, who animated Todo’s Black Flash sure had a particular style to it and while we don’t know if it is inspired by My Hero Academia or not, fans cannot stop to compare this sequence to All Might using his quirk.
The resemblance to this sequence is easy to compare with All Might’s All For One due to a few small factors such as the way Todo was animated as it is directly compared to the rough style that fans have seen All Might over and over again.
However, the biggest factor was the particle effect that was showcased before Todo landed his Black Flash on Mahito. My Hero Academia has showcased this particle effect many times before showcasing any big punch landing on the villains that throw them out of the gate.

This effect in particular enhances the meaning of what they want to land a meaning full punch on the villains and how they want to make an impact. Last but not least, right before landing the punch, we also have a lot of background panels which is again used as an enhanced factor which we have seen either All Might or Deku numerous time before landing the punch.
Thus, fans can’t help but compare this scene to My Hero Academia’s repeated scene.
