Jennifer Garner and Reese Witherspoon are showing how strong female friendships can be. Both of them are clearly in sync with each other. Jennifer recently shared an incident between the pals that led to her collaboration with the Radio City Rockettes.
On 3 December 2023, Jennifer shared a video of her dancing with the famed dance team Rockettes. She revealed how a message from Witherspoon has turned into true. It was Witherspoon who suggested that Jennifer should dance with the troop.
Garner, in the Instagram post, explained while showing a text from her dearest friend Witherspoon asking her to perform with the dance team.
My friend Reese sent me a DM yesterday. Little did she know I happened to be in New York, and for our whole friendship, I pretty much do anything she says
She, in the voiceover, said that she did it since Witherspoon suggests for her. She urged Garner to dance with the [Rockettes] after sharing a video from the troupe’s page. It seemed really surprising for the actress and producer Witherspoon to have a video of her greatest friend with Rockettes and wishing her a Christmas wish.
Garner was in New York to promote her new Netflix movie, Family Switch. At the premiere of the film that happened last month Garner and her co-stars were seen performing and dancing with a flash mob on the red carpet.
Garner and Witherspoon give some BFF moments
It was a really sweet gesture of Garner to fulfill the suggestion Witherspoon had for her. They seemed to be showing major BFF goals. The two have been friends with each other for more than two decades.
After Witherspoon suggested dancing with Rockettes, Garner replied with a picture of her feet standing on top of a carpet that had “Radio City Music Hall” written in gold letters. Witherspoon was really surprised and responded to the message with Am I psychic? Garner said in response that No, she manifested it.
It was a heartwarming moment to watch two friends bond beautifully. Witherspoon also responded to the video of Rockettes wishing her Merry Christmas by sharing it on her Instagram page and wrote
Ummm…. This might be the greatest gift I’ve ever received from this glorious, joy-seeking/dance-loving woman! Jen, you made my whole holiday season
Many celebrities commented on the post with funny comments. The fans of their friendship seemed to be really happy and are praising the love they have for each other. One of the fans said that the two of them should do a movie together and they are the best example for women and girl friendships. Rockettes also commented saying that dancing with her was a dream and they would also like to put steps with Witherspoon.
Garner has always talked about the friendship the two actresses share. Garner said that Witherspoon was always there for her during a very public and very hard moment in her life during a panel discussion at Hello Sunshine’s Inaugural Shine Away Event in Los Angeles back in October.
She opened up about her close friendship with the Sweet Alabama actress.
I think back to being pregnant. This one [Witherspoon] was sitting next to me. I think back to going through a very public, very hard moment in my life. She was right there, and the way I needed to get through it was dance cardio. And I dance cardio-ed so hard, we broke her foot, but she kept going. It was like, okay, we worked out at seven on vacation, we’re going to work out again at two. I’m going to be there. I’m going to be there.
