So, of course, we know that last week had the chaos of movie night, and it continued in the previous episode. Zac is doubling down on his decision to say that Lucinda needed to go to puppy training.
It’s very frustrating for me to watch the guys try to defend what Zac said. I understand having your boy’s back or whatever, but that just shows me either you condone that type of behavior or you’re perpetuating that type of behavior yourself because you cannot call them out. The person who did the best job was Andy, but even still, he was like, “No, we understand what you meant.” How can you rationalize what he said?
I would understand if what he said was towards somebody he didn’t want to be with. But you’re telling me the person who you claim to love, the person who you are in partnership with, is somebody who you feel needs to be put into puppy school; you need to train them not to be a toxic person. To me, I just don’t understand it.
Recap
Before diving into Love Island Australia Season 5 Episode 23, let’s quickly recap and review the previous episode. Both Lucinda and Zac are trying to stand their ground and not be the first person to cave. This villa really struggles to hold people accountable.
Whether you are friends or not, you see it time and time again. It just has to do with the age, which is crazy because the age ranges from 21 to 28. These people are older than me.
Just because somebody is your friend, or maybe because it’s an uncomfortable conversation, doesn’t mean you cannot say, “Hey, this part right here, this was wrong of you. This part right here, you probably shouldn’t that you could have handled this differently”.
What kind of friendship is just Yes, man. And people are seeing that kind of dynamic between Zac and Trent. It doesn’t matter how bad of a thing the other person has done. They will always back them.
Zac is now upset at the way that Lucinda has reacted to the things that she saw on movie night, and so she decides to throw a jab at him because she is upset. He doesn’t like that, and I’m like, “Not the pot calling the kettle.”
Are you not the same person who did those exact same things on movie night, which made her react the way that she did? When you are upset with her, she becomes the butt of your jokes to your friends.
To him, “because, oh, he’s just the funny guy. It shouldn’t be that deep”. But it is that deep, and this is the person who you want to be your girlfriend. This is the person who you say that you love.
The way that you talk about her in her absence is a true testament to your character. A lot more happened in previous episodes, but now let’s discuss when Episode 23 of Love Island Australia Season 5 will be released and what will happen in it.
