EastEnders happens to be one of the longest-running but, at the same time, most popular shows in the British television industry. The show has been ongoing since 1985. The soap opera was created by Julia Smith and Tony Holland, and it quickly became one of the most-watched shows in Britain.
The soap opera follows the story of residents living in the East End Area of London and their daily lives. The show is filled with non-conventional themes and situations and has embedded itself as an important part of British history.
Whilst the show caters to all the residents of the area, five families are central to the show. The Beatles, Brannings, Mitchells, Slaters, and Watts are some of the most prominently seen and important families in the show.
The show follows the theme of strong families and each individual having their place in the show. This theme is something that Tony Holland, the creator, took from his own life as he was born in a big family in the East End Area of London.
The show is ongoing and has not been boring for the fans. The reason behind that happens to be the wonderful scriptwriting and the extremely talented cast of the show. Recently, a twist of the show shook the fans and made them anticipate the next episodes.
Heather Peace praises her two co-stars on her Instagram
Heather Peace, who plays Eve in EastEnders, recently posted on her Instagram. In that post, she paid tribute to her two co-stars and praised them. The recent episode featured the three of them, and Navin, who plays Nish, and Aaron, who plays Ravi, were the bad guys.
Heather wrote in her post that she was delighted to work with two of them. She said that it’s hard to get into the mindset of playing a villainous role, especially if the two people are as sweet as Navin and Aaron. She praised the two of them, and Navin and Aaron both commented on the post with various renditions of the heart emoticon.
The recent episode of the show had some very dark scenes and tested the acting prowess of the actors. Fortunately, the actors passed that test with flying colors and managed to mesmerize the audience.
As mentioned above, the Eve Unwin Twist of the show has baffled some fans. Fans have a mix of emotions regarding the episode. Whilst some are in awe of the acting and the writing of the script, many are saddened by the ending.
The episode aired on November 30 and showed the consequences of Suki and Eve’s affair. Nish, played by Naveen, finds out about the affair between Eve, played by Heather Piece, and Suki, played by Balvinder Sopal.
Nish sees the camera footage of Suki and Eve’s meeting at the minute mart. Nish was decidedly angry about this fact and set up a trap for Eve. He texted Eve from Suki’s phone and asked her to meet.
Eve unknowingly fell into the trap and went to the location. There, she was greeted by a furious Nish. The two had a heated argument, after which the plans about Suki and Eve running away together and living happily were revealed.
Post argument, when Eve tried to leave, she was attacked by Nish. Nish then called up Ravi and asked him to put an end to Eve once and for all. Ravi grappled with the decision and didn’t want to hurt Eve further. However, he was convinced by Nish and ultimately decided to go through with Nish’s demands.
However, he didn’t go through with killing Eve. When he met Eve, she begged him for her life and tried to reason with him. Ravi ultimately agrees and spares her.
He does, however, warn her never to return and to disappear. He warns her of the consequences both Stacey and Suki would face if she decides to return to Walford or tries to contact Suki. Eve and Ravi, both knowing Nish’s limits, agreed with this, and Eve left.
Ravi lies to Nish and tells him that he killed Eve. This expectedly disheartened the fans and saddened them. They wished to see more scenes of Suki and Eve and their sweet moments, but it seems the writers of the show do not wish to grant them this. Fans are hoping to see more of Eve and wish that she doesn’t leave the show.
