For almost ten years, Charlotte Flair has been a mainstay on WWE television, continuously leaving her mark on the organization.
Not surprisingly, given her legendary reputation and undeniable star power, she stated that she wanted to continue her father Ric Flair’s legacy by competing in the WarGames match at Survivor Series.
Even after winning the women’s world championship 14 times and becoming well-known in the WWE women’s division, Charlotte Flair is still linked to her father’s history.
She faced Damage CTRL in her first-ever WarGames match at Survivor Series, where she was paired with Bianca Belair, Shotzi, and Becky Lynch.
Charlotte Flair wants to establish the tradition of her father, Ric Flair
Ultimately, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair were instrumental in helping their team win.
During the Survivor Series media scrum, Charlotte Flair was questioned about her preparation for the WarGames match and her attitude toward it. She stressed that she wanted to continue the legacy set by her father, Ric Flair, who has a long history in the match.
Flair acknowledged the difficulty of exceeding the caliber of the match from the year prior and the NXT version that came before it.
Nevertheless, she was inspired by the historical significance of WarGames and her desire to carry on her father’s and Dusty’s legacy. Flair, working with Bianca and Shotzi and sharing the occasion with Becky, saw it as a chance to make amends and move on.
She emphasized her resolve to perform her trademark moonsault and go off the cage during the match by calling the experience “awesome.”
Even though Charlotte Flair won the Survivor Series, her future in the WWE is still up in the air. It is unclear what plans WWE has for her, so it’s possible that she will take on a more significant babyface run this time around.
Charlotte Flair Talks About Becky Lynch and Her Reunification
At the press conference, Flair and Becky Lynch—two members of the WarGames team—were interviewed together. They had a close friendship both in NXT and at the beginning of their careers on the main roster.
But when Lynch became the most notable female Superstar in 2018, things became tense, and the strained relationship apparently lasted.
As Flair said during the press conference, “Being with Bianca and Shotzi and having this moment with Becky, for me, it was more making amends,” it appears that the two are now trying to patch things up. We kind of left things unsettled, so tonight, we’re getting together to figure out how to make things work. It was fantastic. I needed to perform my moonsault. “I have to go off the cage,” I thought to myself.
