We will see Luciano learn the full truth regarding his sister Ines in the coming chapters of the romance series. Ines had been through a lot in the series, the details of which her brother doesn’t even know due to her hiding it. But it seems that the truth will seep out little by little in The Broken Ring: This Marriage Will Fail Anyway Chapter 54.
Oscar had been tormenting Ines behind her family, humiliating her in many ways. Luciano had suspected that something was going on behind the scenes between his sister and Oscar, but he couldn’t confirm it. There is also the fact Carcel has been given a bit of the info about what is going on behind the scenes.
Despite being the male lead, Carcel wasn’t been present for the majority of the last chapter, until the very end that is. The guy is supposed to be the guy in shining armor but he hasn’t been doing well in that department. As there have been things that have been taking place beyond his control for a while now.

The last chapter, as we stated above, was a bit incohesive and had some random elements. There is also the question of time travel at play there which makes the comprehension a bit difficult. But all of it will be cleared in the pages of the next chapter.
One thing that puzzled everyone was the sudden appearance of Carcel when Ines was trying to run away from the royal palace. In doing so, Ines had taken significant damage to her foot. But despite that, she was walking barefoot, without over what will happen to her in the future. It is then Carcel will consult her. His reasoning for appearing there is thanks to Oscar who had been talking his worries with the male lead.

The two siblings have an estranged relationship now that they have been away from each other for a while. Ines had done things that had led to the fall from grace and all alone by herself.
However, this didn’t help her or her family in any manner but only tarnished the reputation of her family and lowered their reputation. Ines had also gotten ravaged by Oscar and all the while when her brother was in proximity but far enough. It could also be said that her mental capacity has reached its limit and she is suffering in silence.
Other than that, there was a lack of cohesion in the last chapter that made some things look random. This led to some readers as to what was happening and what was the order of events. It became even more confusing when Carcel showed up out of nowhere when the female lead was in distress and was thinking of running away.
