These children drained all of her life energy and she gave birth dying to them by a river side. The children survived by some miracle and a year later, we see that these quirks started to appear everywhere from children to children who did not hit puberty.
All For One was already making terror when he was four years old and the narration reveals that he was born an arrogant child and thought he was born to claim everything in this world. While he was spreading terror, the other was weak and small and tried to stop his brother the best he could.
These children were also inspired by a comic book but in a very different way. All For One loved the idea of being a villain who got all the power for himself becoming All For One. Thus, he had also killed the famous glowing child who had a reputation for himself and got his power.
While the whole chapter saw how All For One came to be and his ideology, the last two pages of the chapter saw something different as Yoichi was getting away from All For One and it is Kudou that is getting away from his brother.
