The satisfying moment where Lize gets thrown off her high horse has finally arrived, and the fans couldn’t be happier reading it. Since the beginning, Lize has been more or less an annoying bug that keeps interfering in the relationship between Edith and Killian, thinking that Killian likes her more than Edith.
But now, Killian isn’t even looking her way and maintaining a respectable distance from her, and Lize hates every moment of it. Recap
In the previous chapter of I Thought It’s a Common Possession, Catherina talks about how Killian asked her for a favor and taught Edith horse riding. Catherine obviously thought he was making a stupid joke at first because Edith is famous for being a villain.
Why would he ask her for such an odd favor? Killian says he would have taught Edith himself, but Edith looked reluctant about that, thanks to the misunderstanding earlier. Catherine was still not convinced because she had often heard the Duke and her father discuss Edith’s family and all their evil misdeeds.
However, after meeting her, she had to begrudgingly admit that Edith was way too soft to be an actual villainess because Edith had started crying after hearing Catherine talk. The two actually end up forming a good relationship even after all the initial misunderstandings.
On the other hand, Lize was still clinging to Killian, and she dragged him off to pick up the shoes they had ordered. When they got there, the store was yet to be open, which kind of made Killian mad since he was on a tight time schedule. He even reprimands Lize a little, which is pretty refreshing to watch.
After the store is open, Killian helps Lize put on the shoes, and he thinks about the time when he thought he loved Lize. However, since Edith came to his life, that thought had completely vanished. Killian talks about buying shoes for Edith, and Lize gets to know the two are going to his territory.
