Just When everything was starting to look peaceful for Dokja, Fate has itself intervened to make things difficult this time. Previously, we saw Yoo Sangah revealing that “Kim Dokja will die at the hands of the one he loves the most,” and now one of the nebulas has tried to mingle with fate to drive Dokja to his death.
With so many entities plotting Dokja’s death, will he be able to survive this time? We’ll find out in Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 185!
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 184 opens up with Huiwon finding out about the truth of this place called “Paradise.” This happened after she saw a woman getting arrested by the guards even though she didn’t do anything. Huiwon, being the embodiment of judgment, jumped in to protect the woman, but the guards snatched her away, even leaving the woman’s child crying.
Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint Chapter 184: Recap
Jihye, Hyunsung, Gilyoung, and Sooyoung were already prepared to fight back, so they immediately gathered around Huiwon to back her up. Hyunsung says that this is going to be a big fight, and so he hopes that they manage to pull through. Sooyoung adds that this is probably why Dokja left them behind.
Jihye agrees with Sooyoung and says that Dokja must be fighting something even bigger somewhere, and that must be the reason why he left all of them behind to protect them. Huiwon follows everyone’s opinion and says that they should deal with this matter on their own as they can’t depend on Dokja forever.
Meanwhile, Dokja and Yoosung are riding through the second floor in the car that Dokja obtained after completing the Hidden Scenario. Yoosung can be seen as extremely happy, and that is understandable because she finally got to rest after all the fighting and stress.
Yoosung screams that she will not live like a loser anymore and become selfish. Dokja gets annoyed by Yoosung, but she suggests he shout something, too, as they might not get the chance to do something fun again. After some thought, Dokja shouts and declares that he’s the main character.
Dokja’s words sound so empty that not only Yoosung but even the Constellations get embarrassed and try to hide somewhere. Dokja also immediately regrets saying those words, but what’s done is done. He then thinks about how everything is going in Paradise as his team should survive if everything goes according to the novel.
Dokja gets rather skeptical seeing things going so smoothly when suddenly a message pops up on his screen saying that a great fate wishes for his death. Dokja gets scared by this sudden message, and so he abruptly breaks the car. The Message repeats itself two more times, which is concerning as this is something that hasn’t happened even in the novel.
Dokja tells Yoosung that someone is trying to read his fate. Yoosung asks Dokja if this is something like a future vision, but Dokja tells her that there are some differences. Dokja explains that future vision only allows a person to peek at the predictable future, but fate, on the other hand, emphasizes that predictable future.
Emphasizing the predictable future means that once someone has seen the future, then they can create a force power that would make sure that there’s no change in that future. Yoosung understands this power called fate, but she wonders how much plausibility it will take to use such a power that is capable of even interfering with the scenarios.
Dokja tells Yoosung that the only ones who can read fates are the great nebulas. Suddenly, a bright flash of lightning strikes the ground ahead of Dokja and Yoosung and sends them in panic. Yoosung quickly asks Dokja about the contents of the fate message, and Dokja tells her that it mentioned that he’s going to die.
Yoosung gets mad at Dokja for telling her such crucial information after so long, but the situation at hand is more serious than arguing over the past. Dokja starts sweating because he can sense that this presence is of someone who’s on a different level from ordinary monsters.
Yoosung continues her rant about how things were going too smoothly when suddenly Dokja smells the scent of wine. The Scent of wine can only mean one thing: Dionysus is related to this event somehow. The speculations are immediately proved right as Dionysus’s incarnation appears from the light and tells Dokja that he has a message for him.
