Tyler Perry’s Sistas continues with the story of Andi, Karen, Danni, and the others, with Andi finally moving on from her past relationship and Karen forming a good relationship with Zac & Fatima. They’re going to be co-parents soon, so Karen has to make sure she doesn’t cause any bad blood between them.
Sistas is a comedy and drama series revolving around the lives of a group of single black females as they come across new friendships, lovers, and career changes while living in the modern world.
Sistas offers a look into relationships formed in this era of fragile hearts and unrealistic goals. Like almost all of Tyler Perry’s shows, Sistas managed to gain enough popularity to even have a spin-off based on one of its couples, Zac and Fatima (Zatima).
After 6 seasons, Sistas has brought these women into a new part of their lives where they realize that they’re better off being with someone who loves and respects them for who they truly are. Andi has ended her relationship with Gary, while Karen is trying her best to become a better person for her child too.
The returning cast members for Sistas’ 6th season include KJ Smith in the role of Andi, Ebony Obsidian as Karen, Mignon Von playing Danni, and Novi Brown as Sabrina. Zac and Fatima are played by DeVale Ellis and Crystal Renee Hayslett, as usual.
Recap
Fatima and Zac run into Karen at the supermarket, who starts to ask them about the child they are carrying. Karen asks Zac if he would take care of their child the same way and not leave them all alone. This causes Zac to lash out at Karen for confronting him on something she didn’t know anything about.
Fatima lets Karen know that they would be good parents to Karen’s child, too, and that the child they were carrying was lying in his mess at the mother’s house, which is why she and Zac were out shopping for diapers and food for him.
Maurice and Calvin talk about relationships and how Maurice always ends up with the worst men of the same kind. Calvin reveals that it could be due to the trauma and troubles that Maurice went through when he was a child.
The boy that Zac and Fatima brought home still seems to be bothered by the abuse he faced at his previous home. Zac promises to take care of him from now onwards. Danni tries to sneak into her home but finds out that Preston’s still awake.
Karen shows up at Zac and Fatima’s house and brings the car seat and other stuff for the kid. She also apologizes for her rude behavior towards Zac. Andi and Karen hang out, and Andi reveals that she and Aaron are no longer a thing.
What troubles Karen is the fact that her shop burned down, and she didn’t have a partner to rely on at this tough time. Andi offers to help Karen financially until she’s able to get back on her own feet. Now that she is done with Gary, Andi looks forward to something new with Jordan.

After finding out the poor child was mistreated by his mother, there’s no way that Zac and Fatima are going to let him go back to the same abuse again.
While Sabrina and Maurice figure out the fate of their companionship, Karen finds out that she is on the verge of losing her livelihood. The studio being burned left her devastated, and with a child on the way, everything seemed to be overwhelming for Karen.
