Review & Explanation
I think I understand why the manhwa is having pacing issues. Rokan hasn’t really been interacting with a main antagonist who wasn’t an NPC recently. He keeps killing goons that aren’t that interesting, so we can’t get invested in the fights.
When Rokan was going against that guild and when he was screwing them over and beating the shit out of them, we had the most fun with this series. Other than that, nothing much has happened except Rokan powering up more and more.
It’s a blast to watch Rokan going nuts on NPCs and mob players. However, I would like some relationships to be introduced. Friends, love interests, enemies, honestly, just any recurring character that actually helps contribute to the story would be welcome.
The closest thing we have to that is Odin, but he only gets a 2-panel scene every 10-12 chapters. We need more characters! It has shown that he is currently the highest-level player. The person in second was also badly defeated by Rokan. We all know that Odin is strong, but his story is near its end.
Only NPCs are left who can be strong enough to give him a challenge. If strong players start to appear every time, then the concept of him being the highest level will be wasted.

I think it would be a good point for a loss and character development. But I hope Malkin steps in and saves the day. At least it wouldn’t be a miracle win. At this point, it’s a thing of Rokan stalling/holding out until Malkin gets here since Jaros just said he sensed him nearby.
I think the fact that Rokan isn’t able to win this is because he needs to be bailed out by Malkin. It will work as a way of showing that as badass as we’ve seen him, he still isn’t at the top of the food chain, and there’s still a need for growth.
