These two older men used to be members of the Heavenly Demonic Cult, but they are now part of Dark Heaven. They are Transcendent masters (weaker than the Ten Kings). If I remember correctly, the redhead guy practices a stolen, watered-down version of the Fire King’s martial art.
They will massacre many Shaolins before Fire King and Tae Kyung (MC) arrive. They manage to kill one of the two when the Blood Lord arrives. The Blood Lord is as strong as the Three Stars (Sword Saint, Killing Star, and the other one I don’t remember) at the time of the war.
Sword Saint is stronger than him since he rejuvenated. An epic fight happens. Cheong Pung also arrives, and they all fight the Blood Lord together. Blood Lord overwhelms all of them.
While Tae Kyung (MC) and Cheong Pung distract the Blood Lord, the Fire King uses his ultimate attack almost at the cost of his life and disables the Blood Lord. The guy loses body parts and is as good as dead, but he can regenerate.
The Fire King is on his deathbed and unconscious from using too much power. Tae Kyung (MC) and Cheong Pung step up and manage to hold up the Blood Lord for a while more. Blood Lord wipes the floor with them.
Then the Sword Saint Arrives and almost kills the Blood Lord, forcing him to teleport away. The Fire King stays unconscious because his vital energy is too little, and he got poisoned at some point (I don’t remember when). Tae Kyung (MC) starts his journey seeking the Godly Doctor to heal his master. He goes to Sichuan’s Tang Clan.
On his way there, he meets a merchant girl (daughter of one of the deceased ten Kings). He saves her. In saving her, he fights the mightiest sword of Jongnam (Southern Edge Sect) and breaks through, becoming a Transcendent master.
In Sichuan, Tae Kyung (MC) finds the Godly Doctor and also traces of Dark Heaven. He manages to cure his master of the poison and gets him to wake up, but it’s too late, and his days are numbered unless he gets a breakthrough in his cultivation.
Fire King helps Tae Kyung fight an opponent as strong as the three saints (as strong as the Blood Lord; they will fight soon in the manhwa). They manage to beat him and stop Dark Heaven from getting the Tang clan’s treasure.
