During an interview that was shared on Tuesday, November 7, with Jason Lee of Hollywood Unlocked, Omarion disclosed an encounter she had with Karrueche Tran before starting her public relationship with Chris Brown.
In the video, the presenter reminisced about an event he organized to which the actress was invited. “They tell me to bring all these girls one night. Karrueche was one of the girls I brought, so I brought all these girls,” Lee said. Omarion concluded by reiterating the interviewer’s memory, “Yeah, that’s true.”
Lee went on, “I thought you guys were going to be big, and then she was on Chris’s Media Take Out.” Additionally, you remained silent! How come? Yes, I would have if I were you! The singer of “O” retorted, “Come on, now! You need to stop bothering me.
In response to the above excerpt, Brown posted on his Instagram Story on November 8th, saying, “Come on… Unless you can find somewhere better for your pathetic self. People are really aiming high for the stars.”
Omarion’s views on dating
In a May interview, Omarion discussed his views on dating on “Club Shay Shay.” The 38-year-old singer made a suggestion that a single partner might find it difficult to keep up with the demands of his lifestyle when Shannon Sharpe questioned him about his approach to romance. He voiced doubts about a monogamous partnership’s ability to endure the particular demands of being in his company.
The relationship between Tran and Brown developed in the public eye and was turbulent for several years before ending in 2015. Omarion, however, fell in love with reality star Apryl Jones. After divorcing, the latter couple still co-parent their two children

Despite not finding love with Tran, Omarion went on to date reality TV star and actress Apryl Jones, with whom he fathered two children. After having their first child in 2014 and their second in 2016, the couple is said to have begun dating in 2011.
O talked about co-parenting with Jones and their breakup when she visited Sway in the Morning with Sway Calloway back in March. He also discussed the romantic relationship between the former Love & Hip-Hop star and actor Taye Diggs.
The singer-author talked about the difficulties of having children with a former partner at the 12-minute point in the interview, highlighting how tough these circumstances can be. He considered his own relationship experience, admitting that it had given him a better understanding of his needs and the support system he needed to survive.
He noted that, without generalizing, some women might believe that love stories should follow a traditional narrative of vibing, getting married, and starting a family because they were young at the time and had different perspectives. He did, however, disclose that his personal experience didn’t match the anticipated happy ending.
The 38-year-old revealed that he recently had a brief encounter with Diggs—who also has children of his own—while talking about their blended family situation. He was positive about his first impression, saying, “It seems like a cool dude that I just met. I only expect good things from him because he’s an older man and has children of his own.”
