We will see Kartein figuring out a way to escape from the hands of Astra in Eleceed Chapter 272. As stated in the previous chapter by Kartein and ratified by Astra, he can’t use force on Kartein since Kartein might kill him during healing, as the patient becomes totally vulnerable.
But now Astra just completely contradicts the entire context of the previous chapters. The others also wanted Kartein for their motives, but he rejected them, and they couldn’t protest because of this (above) simple fact.
Thus, he never needed any backing from the top 10s or Kayden in the past and was able to remain a beguiling character. But now it seems Kartein is in a very vulnerable state. So, let’s see how he will escape from Astra in the next chapter.

Review & Explanation
Well, it was kind of obvious it was going to end this way. There’s no way they’ll let Kartein go with that op-healing abilities. Kayden’s injury has not healed yet. It’s hard to save Kartein unless Kayden has that secret ability that he can use to put him back at his Peak.
But he’ll be out for a year without being able to protect Jiwoo, which actually would force Jiwoo to get stronger faster. Now, Jinwoo not only has to protect Kayden but also Kartein. After making enemies out of not 1 but 2 top 10 awakeners, Astra and Andrei, Jiwoo & his friends are about to get buff.
Thinking about it, Kartein still has the advantage on Astra since he is the only OP healer out there who can heal him since he will hurt himself again sooner or later. So, Kartein will use this to his advantage to get out of this situation.
Spoilers
Astra is being eager to test new strengths and attack other top 10. He’ll get injured in the process and ask Kartein to heal. However, since he treated Kartein poorly, Kartein will mess up his body instead and flee. That’s my craziest guess.
Astra was already Kayden’s level before his injury. Then his new self probably wouldn’t struggle against an injured Kayden since he said he had improved his strength from his previous injury.
However, it means if he does get injured again, he needs Kartein’s help to heal, so that could be the exploit Kayden uses to defeat him. And if he does that, then the top 10 awakeners might back away for a while, but as I see it, Kayden will win one way or another since that’s how it normally goes.
It will be difficult for Kayden since he isn’t even in good shape to fight Astra. I can’t see Kartein fighting in this condition. Also, it will be too risky for Kayden to save him right now.
It is really better if Kartein heals Kayden instead, but I understand why he didn’t do that because he knows Kayden has a very high pride and doesn’t want to show weakness.
Kartein doesn’t want to cross that because they respect and care for each other, and they only have one goal, which is to protect Jiwoo. I won’t be surprised if Kayden and Jiwoo go there and save him.
