Paris sealed a deal with Ang in the previous chapter. Readers are excited to find out how Ang will perform in the demon-hunting competition in Demonic Evolution Chapter 36.
The girl from the hunting team wished to see the breaking dawn and wanted to become an apprentice gardener. As she was fond of flowers, but the apocalypse was far too cruel for them, she wished to grow beautiful flowers around their place.
Ang considered himself guilty of the outbreak; he blamed himself for not being able to suppress the demonic energy inside of him.
Ang hoped that the flames would spare the body parts of the people from being ravaged by the demons. He hoped that they would no longer suffer, even though he had gotten the strength of a quadruple-finned form.
Ang was not in the mood to test out how much stronger he had gotten. Ang was wondering what kind of relationship the octuple-finned female demon had with the demon kind inside of his body.
Ang forced his body to jump past the triple-finned stage right into the quadruple-finned stage. He was wondering what those demons were planning to do, and on top of that, all the triple-finned demons used strange equipment to help them break through the quadruple-finned stage that used to make him uneasy.
Ang was wondering if the equipment was not made by the demon and how they obtained it. Ang wanted to find out who provided them with that equipment because that equipment was of high caliber and could only be made by the highest-ranked city.
Ang’s first guess was that the equipment was made in the city of Breaking Dawn. Either way, he had to find a large town quickly so that he could inform Leader Joel that he was safe.

Ang was worried about Liu and his other teammates; he was hoping that they would have managed to safely escape the tunnel and have reached the city.
Based on the information, Ang knew that if he continued in that direction, he would have reached a rank city called Piquedia. He decided to go and report his status back to Helious from there.
Meanwhile, the other four team members and Ji Yaotang had safely reached the city of Brian. Battle instructor Kurt informed Ji Yaotang and others that they could not send their soldiers to rescue their team members.
They had received the news that the B-ranking city of Pether had encountered a high-level demonic wave.
So he believed that their teammate Ang was probably dead, and sending their soldiers to rescue them would be very irresponsible of them.
Ji Yaotang told Battle Instructor Kurt that their teammate Ang had some unique talents, so they were confident that Ang would have survived the demonic wave.
Battle instructor Kurt was adamant that there was no lack of young, unique, and talented warriors, even if they were that talented.
They were all incapable of surviving a highly-ranked demonic wave. But since battle instructor Kurt believed that in their apocalyptic world, no human life should be left behind, it was still impossible for him to send reinforcement directly.
