Jeremy Renner talks about how his almost fatal snowplow accident changed him.
52-year-old Jeremy Renner told CNN that, despite the accident that happened more than nine months ago, he feels lucky and thankful to be able to walk, live, and carry on with life.
He said, “I’m very, very clear,” elaborating on how his life has become more streamlined and focused. My life is really lean if that makes sense. There’s no fat in my life anymore. I don’t have time for that. So, there’s something really beautiful about having that superpower.”
Even though Jeremy Renner is still healing, he has begun to promote the vodka company, Sweet Grass Vodka. He is also releasing new music under the name “Love and Titanium.” According to what he shared on Instagram last Thursday, this song is inspired by “many important moments in my healing journey since January 1st of this year.”
Jeremy Renner opens up on his thoughts post-accident
Renner stressed that he is now extremely picky about who and how he spends his time. The topics they talk about on a regular basis resonate strongly with him in terms of family and lifestyle. Additionally, he plans to give priority to and cherish shared experiences.
After a snowplow accident on his property in Reno, Nevada, on January 1, Renner believes he has learned many important lessons and gained valuable insight from the experience. During the accident, he suffered over 30 bone fractures and underwent multiple surgeries while helping his nephew extricate a stuck vehicle from the snow.
It’s hard to describe the experience Renner had of going through a rigorous test that tested his physical, emotional, and spiritual endurance. He characterized it as a test of strength and endurance with a significant mental component.
He has developed coping mechanisms and realized that dealing with pain is mostly a mental struggle. He feels incredibly fortunate and full of appreciation for this event.
Since his injury at Kate Beckinsale’s birthday celebration in July, Renner has not used a cane in public. In September, he also got back together in Boston for Chris Evans and Alba Baptista’s wedding, along with a few other coworkers from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jeremy Renner’s releasing music project dedicated to his accident
The 52-year-old Marvel actor Jeremy Renner revealed on Instagram that he will be releasing new songs as a part of a project dubbed “Love and Titanium.” This musical compilation documents several turning points in his recuperation process following his January 1st snowplow mishap.
Renner emphasized his intention to share “Love and Titanium” with others once he gets the guts to do so, describing the process as hard, cathartic, and deeply healing.
The title of the project was inscribed on the teaser poster for “Love and Titanium,” which was released by Jeremy Renner. He put the word “soon” at the top of the image and covered the majority of the artwork with a heart emoji. He tagged a number of people in his post, including Diane Sawyer, who conducted the first interview when Renner talked about his accident in public.
Renner was driven over by a 7-ton vehicle in a snowplow accident on New Year’s Day, which resulted in numerous operations and severe injuries, including over 30 broken bones. Since being admitted to the hospital, he has kept his followers updated on his progress toward recovery.
Jeremy Renner has established himself in the music business while being best known for his acting roles. In 2020, he published two albums and a number of singles since 2018. Composing and performing “Rebel on the Road” for the Disney+ reality series Rennervations, which debuted in April, is one of his more recent musical ventures.
