After the incidents in the forest at the end of Season 1, Helmut has now finally made it to the Greta academy. Fate has brought Alea and Helmut together in a rather weird way as the two of them would have to share a dorm. Helmut is still unaware of the fact that Alea is a girl but will it stay that way? Or will Alea be exposed? Find out in Helmut: The Forsaken Child Chapter 43!
Helmut: The Forsaken Child Chapter 41 opens up with Alea waking up in her dorm room. She yawns and says that she still feels exhausted which could be because she has been pushing herself too hard these days.
She thinks of how she doesn’t want friends but she still keeps getting swept into the most weird kinds of stuff. Alea puts all the blame on Helmut as everything starts to go Wary after she meets him. She decides to just avoid Helmut when the semester starts.
Recap
Helmut arrives in his dorm room at the Greta Academy. He looks around the room and thinks that it’s a bit smaller than Kudrow Manor but it’s still better than sleeping in the woods. Helmut suddenly remembers the incident that happened in the woods earlier. Helmut thinks that his life is now finally getting on track as he formed a pact with the Pace Mercenary Corps and even got admission to the Greta Academy.
Helmut notices a shadow at the corner of his room and so he suddenly gets on guard to prepare for potential danger. He remembers that he forgot to bring his sword so he would have to just make do with his hands but that won’t be necessary as the person in the corner turns out to be Alea.
Helmut nicely asks Alea if she has the same room but she arrogantly replies that he is standing in her room and that she would have blown him up for that a few moments ago. Helmut explains that he was assigned Room Number 301 which happens to be this room. Alea freaks out because she couldn’t believe that it was even possible but she suddenly remembers something and leaves.
Helmut asks Alea where she’s going and she replies that she doesn’t need to tell him about everything. She then warns Helmut to not touch anything or else she will blow him up. Helmut quietly listens to Alea’s rant and then he wonders what he did to get so much hate.
Liam Weiss, The Dean of Greta Academy takes a sip from his morning cup of tea like usual but the peace and calmness of his room suddenly gets destroyed when Alea barges inside without permission. Alea asks Liam why he assigned her room to someone else when she has the right to have a private room as the highest achiever in the Department of Magic.
Liam sweats heavily because he didn’t expect Alea to know about the room allotment so soon. He tells Alea that the Dorm rooms are currently undergoing renovation so there are fewer rooms to allot which means that everyone would have to share. Alea tells Liam that she needs a private room because Helmut could find out that she’s a girl if he lived with her.
Liam tells Alea that she’s an archmage and so there’s no way a Swordsman would be able to find out about her. He further adds that he can’t give Alea a private room because it would considered extreme favoritism and so he picked someone she knew to share the room with. Alea makes a weird face because she’s not close to Helmut.
Liam requests Alea to just bear with it for some time and then he’ll provide her a separate room. Alea leaves and returns to her dorm where Helmut is still present. Helmut easily finds out that Alea’s request was turned down just by looking at her face. Alea and Helmut conversate for a while and eventually conclude that they should stick together.
