The second season of the romantic comedy Japanese series What Did You Eat Yesterday? is back. The cooking theme series is based on Yoshinaga Fumi’s manga of the same name.

The story begins with Shiro facing difficulties with money, as their expenses have exceeded their budget.
In order to save money, he started buying groceries and other items on a sale. At the time, Seiyo was worried about his weight gain, which was the heaviest he had ever been in his entire life.
He couldn’t figure out why he was gaining weight, despite watching what he ate. Seiyo blamed his age for the sudden weight gain.
Shiro had a meeting with Seiyo regarding their over-monthly expenditure. Shiro had set a budget for their food, but Seiyo believed they couldn’t stay within that budget even if they stopped eating from outside.
Shiro was worried about Seiyo’s health and wanted to see his checkup results, but Seiyo was hesitating because his cholesterol had increased a bit since the last time.
Shiro’s went to the supermarket to purchase groceries and survive for three days. He bought some cheap products to stay within his budget, and meanwhile, he heard that Seiyo New Takaraya was going out of business.
He was upset that the supermarket was closing down. Shiro was sure that the supermarket would pull through and stay in business, but after seeing that they were not refilling their stock, He was sure that there would be no going back from there.
