A Good Day to Be a Dog is originally adapted from a popular webtoon of the same name, “A Good Day to Be a Dog” by Lee Hey. The drama version features a beautiful cast: Cha Eun Woo in the role of Jin Seo Won, Park Gyu Young in the role of Han Hae Na, and Lee Hyun Woo in teh role of Lee Bo Gyeom.
A Good Day to Be a Dog follows a fantasy romantic story between two peculiar teachers. Han Hae Na, the female lead, is a diligent high school teacher. However, she has a secret behind her looks. As her family was cursed generations back, whenever she kisses a guy, she turns into a dog at midnight and turns back into a human after six hours.
This process of transformation continues every night until she kisses the same guy in her dog appearance. Because of her secret, she never gets into a serious relationship since she would always ask her boyfriend not to kiss her, which would eventually make the boys think of her as weird.
Meanwhile, Jin Seo Won, the male lead, is a new handsome teacher in the same high school where Hae Na teaches. Seo Won is athletic, handsome, charming, and talented and teaches whom everyone has a crush on. One night, in drunkness, Hae Na kisses Seo Won accidentally. Both, tho, don’t share a serious relationship.
Hae Na, now to break her curse, has to go around Jin Seo Won to make him kiss her in her dog appearance. But to surprise her, Seo Won has a fear of dogs. Will Hae Na will be able to approach him, or will he tell Seo Won her secret to help her?

In the previous episode of A Good Day to Be a Dog opens up with a hilarious scene where Hae Na wakes up in Choi Yul’s room, and Seo Won turns out to be Choi Yul’s uncle. Hae Na removes the misunderstanding and explains to Seon Woo the whole tragedy that happened last night and why she ended up here.
Hae Na and Seon Woo go out of the house at the same time, which Yoon Chae Ah catches and misunderstands them. Chae Ah, who is jealous of Hae Na, gets close to Seon Woo and tries to strike up a relationship with him. She talks about her desire to get close to him, but Seon Woo behaves reluctant to call it.
Meanwhile, in high school, the vice principal brings her dog to the school. But no one knows that Seon Woo has a fear of dogs except Hae Na. So she tries to hide Seon Woo’s fear of dogs by saying that she has an allergy to the fur of dogs, and due to this, they keep the dog outside of the office.
Another incident happens when Seon Woo, after talking with Bo Gyeom, goes inside the store room to keep his things. Bo Gyeom releases the dog and lets it head toward Seon Woo. Hae Na sees this from afar and again steps in to save Seon Woo. Later, Seon Woo expressed his gratitude to Hae Na for helping him at school.
