Captain Tsubasa Season 2 Episode 3: Recap

In the previous episode of Captain Tsubasa Season 2, the clash with Schneider is taking its form. The guy has been a pain for the Japanese team because he is pretty strong. They don’t even have their ace and they have to go up against a monster like Schneider.

We can see that the team is barely keeping up with Schneider’s physical stamina and prowess. I guess for an average player, Schneider can look like an unrivaled king. However, the team is still determined to win even though the odds are really not in their favor. Their ace was injured and they are lagging behind the other team.

This can explain why the Japanese team is behind the German team by 2 scores with no score from their side. Schneider is so talented and strong that he doesn’t let the team score even a single point, all while scoring himself easily.

This situation would be enough for anyone to lose their morale and the team is also struggling with this. Wakabayashi becomes the center of focus because he is trying his best to counter Schneider himself in the absence of Tsubasa. However, it is obvious that he is failing to do that.
