Raid The Cage Episode 1 Recap
In the debut episode of Raid The Cage we were presented with the general dynamics of the competition show. Two teams compete in a series of mental and physical challenges to earn time when they must enter a cage that’s stocked with lots of items of different value worth thousands of dollars. The bounty ranges from tech gadgets, luxury watches, automobiles, quad bikes, designer bags, dream vacations, and jewelry.
Team number one is made up of Kali and Jamil, from Connecticut. Their rivals are Uno and Alyssa from Massachusetts. They share stories of their backgrounds, and then we get to the competition. There’s a trivia round, and then there’s the action, the cage run. For Uno and Alyssa, they manage to grab nearly $18,000 worth of prizes.
When it’s Jamil and Kali’s turn, they manage to grab $16,940 worth of prizes. So, the teams must go to a rematch to see who comes up on top. After another trivia round in which Jamil and Kali come out on top, they have 90 seconds to raid the cage, and it’s a winner-take-all thing, Jamil has to shoot some hoops and manages to push a mini cooper out of the cage. Then, Kali spins a plane around the globe to grab a pair of golden Gucci shoes, a jewelry bag, a guitar, and some more electronics, making them the winners of this episode.
