I Failed To Throw The Villain Away: Chapter 78 Recap

In the previous chapter of I Failed To Throw The Villain Away, Valetta begins investigating the disease of Lost that had been spreading in villages since she wanted to defeat the Emperor’s evil schemes. Valetta finds out about forbidden alchemy from the book that Gillian had lent to her while she was being held as a captive in the Imperial Palace.

Valetta learned about all kinds of forbidden alchemy that required a blood sacrifice, and she proceeded to successfully create a Chimera. Valetta was a talented alchemist with immense power, so creating the creature was easy for her.

Valetta gets scared after seeing the abominable creature she had created with her own magic, and she freaks out when the chimera flies away. Reinhardt offers to kill the Chimera, but Valetta tells him strictly not to kill it since she has more experiments to do on it.

Reinhardt ends up trapping the chimera in place with his magic, giving Valetta a sense of relief. Valetta begins preparing for her next move, which is to revert the chimera back to its original individual insects that were used for her experiment.
