Unlike most stories of this type of genre, the crown prince was given some sort of depth by being talked about in the background. However, when it comes down to it, this is just another crown prince among many that exist in the world of Yumejoshi.
And there will be comparisons made among all of them, though most of them have the same set of behavior. It would even be right to say that the crown prince stereotype has already been established since there have been many stories about them. And this is why any deviation (and good deviation from that is) stands out in the story.
The crown prince, so far, doesn’t seem like the type that is responsible for the position that has been given to him. It was a big blunder on the kingdom’s part, but there is no serious threat to other nations, so it’s fine. Meanwhile, his adventure in the last chapter led to a very archetypical development of boy meets girl in the manhwa.

The last chapter focused intensively on the rumored crown prince and his run for the place that was brimming with magic. His knights were a little annoyed by this, and the prince was moving without taking action into consequences, and then the magical girl showed up.
The introduction of that character was out of the box. First, we are given her sad story about how she was being used and abused, and then she had a crushing moment.
The moment she got out of the flower bud, she flew away from the crown prince. And for the crown prince’s part, he was blushing and confused by this, too. This begs the question, wouldn’t it have been better to tell the sad backstory later?
