Power Book IV: Force Season 2 has returned following a problematic renewal in which the production crew publicly expressed their frustration at how Starz delayed renewing this Power spinoff. After leaving town and moving elsewhere to establish a new drug empire, the season sees Joseph Sikora’s return as Tommy Egan.
After losing Lakeisha, Ghost, and New York City, where does Tommy go? He travels to Chicago, also known as the “Windy City,” where opportunities exist despite the city’s racial tensions and dispersed drug trade.
Tommy entered Chicago in the first season only to wreak tremendous havoc on the competing drug dealers since he had the know-how and later built up the muscle connections and connections to maintain a smooth flow of drugs into the city. However, because Tommy can be flashy at times and his team may make mistakes, the authorities finally learned what Tommy was up to and who he was hanging out with.
After contentious renewal talks during which the show’s executive producers complained that Starz waited a long time to renew the most popular show on the network, Power Book IV. Most likely, Force will continue from where they left off. We’ll see much more of Tommy in the future, and the police will make considerably more of an attempt to apprehend him.
