Last Night in Soho is a psychological thriller movie released on October 29, 2021, and directed by Edger Wright. The movie plot around the character “Eloise Turner” or “Ellie,” who is played by the actress Thomasin McKenzie. Eloise has the gift of perceiving spirits. When Eloise gets accepted into a Fashion Design College in London, unfamiliar visions of a spirit leave Eloise with mental wounds.
While we discover about Ellie’s mom being a fashion designer and how she has passed away attempting suicide, Ellis still feels her mom’s presence even after her passing. While Ellie struggles after moving to London, one night, she finds herself in an unusual dream.
This takes her to the 90s, where we’re introduced to Sandie, a connection seen as Sandie used to live in the same apartment where Ellie stays. The following day, Ellie finds a love bite on her neck, which Jack gave to Sandie in Ellis’s dream the previous night.
The dreams get more bitter and realistic as Ellis finds out about Sandie’s tragic story. While Ellie starts experiencing the same things that happened to Sandie, her mental wounds get even worse. Later, Ellie takes on the task of solving Sandie’s murder mystery, even hiring a private investigator.
But while talking with Ms. Collins Ellis, the landlady, Ellie discovers how Sandie was never dead, and Sandie’s real name was Alexandra Collins. Ms. Collin had already poisoned Elli’s tea, and a confrontation happens while Miss Collins burns her apartment, later taking her own life, as Ellie and John get away safe after the confrontation. The movie ends with Ellis becoming a succession fashion designer.

Ellie finds herself in a dream where she has traveled back to the 90s to get a glimpse of a girl named Sandie, as the reoccurring dreams of Sandie’s life leave Ellis’s mind in misery.
Ellie decides to solve the murder mystery of Sandie’s death, but in the process, the spirits and visions of Sandie’s life nearly overtake Ellie’s mind. Finally, she reaches a confrontation with Miss Collins about how Sandie was never murdered, and Miss Collins is Sandie.
At the end of the confrontation, Miss Collins decides to burn her apartment down to pay for the murders she did while leaving Ellie and John, her close friend, to survive out of her apartment.
