The chapter starts with Gu Won’s manager waking him up because he got a letter from someone. Gu Won, while lying on the bed, asks him who sent him the letter. He tells him that the manager of the apartment said that someone gave it to him, but he didn’t have the time to ask who’s from because he was in a hurry.

Gu Won tells him to throw it out, but his manager still opens it and checks what is written in the letter. He reads the letter out loud, “Greeting from all the staff of King’s Hotel; we want to invite you to Han Misoo’s memorial.”

Gu Won quickly gets up from the bed after hearing his mother’s name. He tells his manager that they are going back to Korea. After that, Gu Won has a short argument with his father about his mother.
