After finding out that Richard doesn’t like her, she wonders if she is not that pretty or if it is about her personality which is not right. When she asks her maid about this, she says that she is not only the daughter of the well-known Grand Duke, but she also has a good reputation in the socialite world. Along with that, her maid also says that there can be no bride in this country more ideal than her.
On the other hand, she says that it has been seven years of unrequited love. With the help of a flashback, we see that Jasmine was 16 years old when she saw Richard for the very first time. This was the time when she fell in love with the heir of Duke Aion.
