In Chapter 4 of The Method Acting Princess, Prince Oscar finally arrives at the palace and is overjoyed to be reunited with his sister, Michelle. They talk very little until the emperor of Gadria enters the picture and interrupt their conversation.
He asked Oscar about the girl standing with him. The King later learns that the girl with his son is Princess Michelle. We discover later in the Chapter that the emperor of Gadria ordered his daughter to get killed. She got shocked after hearing those words from her own father. And she remains silent for some time.

The Method Acting Princess Chapter 4 Recap
The previous Chapter of The Method Acting Princess begins with the entrance of Princess Michelle at a royal function held at the palace. Everyone was talking about Michelle’s beauty. Next, we learn that the girl standing is not Michelle but her substitute.
Finally, Prince Oscar arrives at the palace, and everyone looks happy to see him in person. The prince is always so stunning, and every girl dies for him. But there was only a girl whose prince’s eye was on her, and that was Michelle.
Both Oscar and Michelle look happy to see each other. Oscar says, “I’m glad to see you well again.”Michelle replies, “I couldn’t have done it without your wonderful powers.”
Later in Chapter 4 of The Method Acting Princess, we discover that Oscar and Michelle are brother and sister. And therefore, they share a strong bond with each other. But the actual reality is that Prince Oscar already knew that the person in front was not Michele; she was his substitute. Oscar says, “Just as I expected… you do know how to act.” Her sweet talk won’t have any effect on prince oscar, and he told about it to her.
In the meantime, he also suggests her do not let her guard down because their father is about to make his entrance. At last, the emperor of Gadria arrived and went toward the throne. He suggests Oscar raise his head. To which Oscar replies, “Yes, your majesty. I pray you have been in good health.” He says, “Enough formalities. Is that your sister standing next to you?” Oscar replies, “Yes.”
It seems as if the emperor doesn’t know that the girl is not Michele. They talk for a while. And later says, “Why wasn’t she killed as I ordered?” It has become so clear that the emperor had ordered to kill Michelle. Later in Chapter 4 of The Method Acting Princess, we see the staring contest between the emperor and the prince.
The reason why the Emperor ordered the assassination is the simple fact that the Emperor has nothing to do with the cursed princess. And Prince Oscar can’t take it and says, “Why?” Michelle’s substitute does not know Michelle’s imprisonment was ordered by the Emperor.
Emperor says, “The only reason why I allowed her to exist in the first place was because of her popularity with the masses.” At last, Michelle’s substitute stands up for Michelle and talks directly with the Emperor. She says, “The curse will not spread. It has nothing to do with our mother either.” She also suggests that he look at her as if the cruse mark had disappeared from her body. And this is a sign that I can get my power back soon.
Chapter 4 of The Method Acting Princess ends with an argument between the Emperor and Michele. It is one of the best Chapters from this manga series.
