The series creates a wild world with transactions of high stake taking place with an ordinary mechanic pushed to take over the ruling gang in Gulaabganj. Rajkumar Rao, a mechanic living in Gulaabganj trying to find love and normalcy in life, gets forced to take over his father’s, a mafia gang, after his death.
The series follows Rao as he tries to run away from the influence his late mafia father had over the small fictional village. Meanwhile, Adarsh Gorav plays the role of a cartel heir. The series focuses on Adarsh trying to run the cartel he is set to inherit someday.
He has no idea how things work in the cartel and tries to navigate his way with a group of thugs who fail to take him seriously. Dulquer Salmaan plays the role of a cop who is morally uptight initially but loses his morals over time and becomes part of the ongoing chaos.
The series portrays the tale of two teens and their experience with love and betrayal beautifully. Initially, with the arrival of Dulquer, the viewers feel the three gangsters will be killed or punished, but to viewers’ surprise, Dulquer’s character takes a turn towards a darker trajectory as he becomes a part of the chaos.
