Hobin was petrified and unable to move at all for most of the chapters. And it wasn’t because he had someone bring out a gun but the reality of the situation in front of him.
Their foes have outsmarted them (these antagonists aren’t mere stepping stones) and impeded the backup that was on the way to help our characters. Why he didn’t just snap and think of a way to turn the situation around is uncanny. But, things turn in their favor in the end, or a stalemate at least when one of them corners the gang leader.

How To Fight Chapter 195 will have a lot more dialogue and will be more focused on one place rather than multiple them. It is in contrast to the last chapter where a lot of things were happening at once and we were nudged as to what to expect in the upcoming chapters. Though, among them, it was surprising to see one of the low-tier gang members going against the police.
This is not reflective of South Korea though, they don’t have gangs and stuff like this. It is a student dystopia for sure, but not much gang violence and stuff; for that, you would have to read comics from US or Europe. But we digress, the next chapter will be confrontation based and will involve Hobin and his friends making sure the one with the gun doesn’t pull it.
