My Lovely Liar Episode 5 is coming out soon. My Lovely Liar is a newly released romantic comedy K-drama with supernatural and mysteries. It is the new Monday-Tuesday by TVN after the end of Delightfully Deceitful. It premiered on 31st July 2023.
My Lovely Liar features Kim So Hyun, Hwang Min Hyun, Seo Ji Hoon, and Lee Si Woo as the main characters. The story revolves around Mok Sol Hee, a girl with a unique superpower. Since childhood, Sol Hee could detect people’s lies and hear a tingle. She had a tough time growing up as she couldn’t trust anyone.
Sol Hee met Kim Do Ha, her next-door neighbor. Kim Do Ha is a music composer. He has a mysterious past and is associated with a murder case. He lives in hiding and doesn’t like to socialize. Kim Do Ha only meet his close friend, Jo Deuk Chan, CEO of J Entertainment. Will Sol Hee be able to help Kim Do Ha? Will her powers vanish or remain forever?
My Lovely Liar Episode Recap:
Mok Sol Hee saved Kim Do Ha from two suspicious journalists. They kept following them to their apartment. Mok Sol Hee hides Do Ha in her apartment until the men leave. Do Ha mentions his name as Kim Seung Joo? Sol Hee feels weird as she was expecting a fake name. After hearing his name, her lie detector sense didn’t work.
The journalists fight with a delivery man, and he breaks the camera lens. The police took them to the station. Lee Kang Min, the police officer, met Mok Sol Hee after so long. He saw shoes and thought she was with someone else. Do Ha left her house and asked her to clarify with Kang Min.
Jo Deuk Chan came to meet Do Ha and explained that the journalists tracked him because of Syaon. Kim Do Ha stated they couldn’t find where he was because of his next-door neighbor, Sol Hee.
Sol Hee, Do Ha and Jo Deuk Chan met again. She shares her business card with Jo Deuk Chan. She inquired about Do Ha’s work, and he responded he was a musician. Jo Deuk Chan lies to her, and her senses pick it up. Sol Hee was worried that he might move away again.
Sol Hee was waiting for Do Ha in her tarot reading cafe. She asks his number for any future help. Sol Hee met Kang Min. He came to apologize to her after ghosting for three years. She lies about having a boyfriend since she does not want him. Kim Do Ha arrived at that moment and introduced him as her boyfriend.
Jo Deuk Chan caught her following and told her that Do Ha won’t work with her anymore. Sol Hee invites Do Ha for a meal. Syaon calls and threatens to end her life. After the call, Do Ha gets panic attacks because of a past incident. Sol Hee helps him and drives to Gangneung. He reveals his true identity to her and urges her not to spread rumors.
Do Ha takes Syaon inside his car and calls her manager to pick her up. Seeing Sol Hee, Syaon gets jealous and threat again about dying. Sol Hee detects she is lying. Do Ha yells at Syaon. While returning, he falls asleep. When she tries to wake him up, he murmurs in his sleep that he didn’t kill her.
In the upcoming episode of My Lovely Liar, Kim Do Ha fall sick after saving Syaon. Sol Hee takes care of him. Kim Do Ha recalls his past trauma and suffers again. Sol Hee is worried about him. Kim Do Ha disappears without any traces. Someone claims to be Kim Do Ha. Sol Hee wants to help him, but he declines her to get involved in his life.
