The Deviless’s Impression Of A Princess Chapter 21 will be the first episode of the second season of the Manhwa. The story follows the life of the overpowered leader of the Demon Clan as she disguises herself as the princess of the nearby country to fulfill her lifelong wish of a fairytale life. Little did she know an opportunity for the same was gonna fall into her lap just like that.
The Demon Queen Lilith was so fearsome that none dared to approach her for over a century. To quell her boredom, she started reading story books. Within those books, one trope caught her eye. The one where a knight in shining armor saves the beautiful princess from the evil villain.
She wanted to see if the heroes from the books were similar to those in reality. To test out her theory, she kidnaps the princess of a neighboring country Freya and holds her hostage against the wishes of Stolas her advisor.
However, the moment Stolas and Freya met each other, something awakened in both of them. It was Love at first sight, much to Lilith’s annoyance. Now, Freya does not wish to return to her Kingdome. She wants to stay in the Demon Kingdom with her beloved.
However, the Knight who was supposed to rescue her is already on his way. There is a silver lining, though. Because of her overprotective father, no one knows what the princess looks like. Most times, she uses a stand-in.
With that in mind, Lilith came up with a plan. She will act as the kidnapped princess while Stolas acts as the Demon Lord. He must fight the Kight and lose dramatically. The Knight would then take Lilith back to her Kingdom as the princess, and she can live happily ever after with her knight in Shining armor.
It’s a win-win situation. Stolas and Freya were onboard, and they were able to execute it perfectly. There was a little issue back at the palace since she didn’t look anything remotely similar to the princess.
She told everyone that she was cursed by the demon lord, and everyone bought it. As time goes by, we are introduced to more characters. We have Mordred, the Knight who saved “the princess.” Clarent, the head priest and good friend of Mordred. Charlotte, the daughter of the King’s Advisor, who is trying to steal Mordred from Lilith, and finally, Alya, the stand-in for the princess who is in love with Clarent.

Lilith blackmailed Alya into telling her s secret about Mordred. She tells him that the only reason Mordred wants to marry the princess is to protect the Temple and the orphans under its care.
Lilith was very disappointed after hearing this, as she had thought that Mordred was in love with her. She began to see all of his actions toward her negatively. Soon the day of the Ball arrives, and Lilith is nowhere to be seen.
Mordred has been practicing a lot to ask Lilith for her first dance, but he soon learns that she is not coming at all. The king arrives with Alya, claiming that the princess is under the weather, and as such, Alya will be standing in for her.
Charlotte taking advantage of her absence, tries to make her move on Mordred. She asks him to dance with her. However, before he could reply, someone in a beautiful black dress and a masquerade mask walked into the banquet hall.
Mordred immediately recognized that it was Lilith. Charlotte became agitated as this new mysterious person had become the new focus of attention rather than herself.
Lilith was testing him to see if he would recognize her. Even though he did, he acted as if he did, assuming it was what she wanted. She asks him to dance with her, to which he replies that he will only dance with the princess and no one else.
Lilith, thinking that Mordred didn’t recognize her, storms out. Alya tells Mordred to follow her, and he does. Out in the courtyard, he races after her and stops her. He tells her that he did recognize her and that he did what he thought was what she wanted. Lilith and Mordred were able to talk it out and clear out all the misconceptions between them. And they finally did have the first dance they waited for.

While Lilith and Mordred are happily dancing, we see Charolette off in the distance, watching them with tears in her eyes. She realizes that if things continue this way, Mordred will end up marrying the princess. Charlotte is not one to give up so easily.
Who knows what new schemes she will cook up to ruin their relationship? She might even go to the Demon Kingdom to request the assistance of the Stolas, the interim Demon Lord, for help.
