Kingdom Chapter 765, Recap
In the previous chapter, that is Chapter 765 of the Kingdom; the chapter begins with the most shocking news, everyone is informed that Kan Pishi is dead, and everyone is shocked to the core upon hearing this. He died in the jail he was in. Ri Shi is questioned if he placed Kan Pishi in jail just because of his involvement in intelligence.
They begin questioning how he died. As the reports are revealed, it turns out that he died due to consuming poison voluntarily, and thus, he committed suicide and died. Ri Shi lets them know that he will handle the matter and they do not need to do anything more.
Ri heads over to the royal palace to see if this is true. He reaches the palace to find Kan Pishi on the floor. He recalls meeting Kan Pishi for the first time, and Kan Pishi called him his dear friend.
Ri Shi unleashes all his anger and frustration at the death of his dear friend Youka whom he accuses of being involved in the death. He grows furious on hearing that Youka handed over the poison to Kan Pishi but claims he had no part in this. Ri is confronted with the fact that he is required to conceal this as a mere suicide.
And if he would not cover it up, then, the unification of China would be pushed back to several years or never even happen. Ri Shi is not in on the plan and believes that Youka is kidding, and is cruel for taking advantage of his dear friend. The chapter ends with Youka requesting him to return to Riboku’s side and continue his work.
