But each and every time, he somehow ends up getting exiled, and each time, he acquires special powers. He takes advantage of these powers and embarks on his journey. This time he is not alone and has a friend for company and does not have to do this all alone.
In Chapter 8 of the manga, Ed heads on a mission, and during heading this mission, Tia continues to tease him, after which he is able to have an honest conversation with Tia. He believes that Tia has reincarnated and that she does have some memories of her past, but they are in her subconsciousness. He was able to figure out several things, including planning what to do ahead.
Ed lets his teammates, along with Alexis, know that it is probably a word according to his estimates of what has happened. He then shows them all the magic tools he has acquired that might help them on their expedition. All his teammates are happy to have the support of Ed and his tools, especially his ability to save lots of items in a bag.
