In the most recent chapter 90 of The New Gate, Shin observes that the number of people in his team has increased and now with more strength and help with him he asks them all to work together with him and help him to rescue Hermie from Skorus.
But it will not be an easy task for him to defeat Skorus. Skorus is revered for his strength and he already has a huge army available at his disposal it would be difficult for Shin to get past that.
Shin comes up with an elaborate plan for how to defeat the boss. Due to the skills he has acquired, he picks up on a few things, and that might help him to defeat the boss and escape the room safely with the rest. He asks the rest to cooperate with him, and they will be able to escape safely.
We can only hope in the upcoming Chapter 91 Shin, along with Filma and the rest give their all to rescue Hermie from Skorus. Even though they are outnumbered they cannot think of leaving Hermie alone and they would do anything to get her back to them even if it means going against Skorus and his army.
The New Gate Chapter 90 Recap
In the previous chapter, that is, Chapter 90, Shin ends up catching Filma before she ends up falling on the floor, and she suddenly falls unconscious. All of them suddenly experience a surge in their stats and health, and they do not feel sick anymore, and it is the same for Guru.
They begin wondering if this is related to the light they experienced earlier. Filma also appears to gain consciousness after a few seconds, and Shin wonders if this is related to the veins of the Earth. He asks her if she is alright, and then she understands what exactly happened.
Their party strength has increased, but they have already spent a considerable time there and have to now think about how to rescue Hermie.
Meanwhile, Hermie tries to reason with Skorus about why she is being held captive. Skorus explains to her that he uses humans to produce miasma, and he asks her to take a look at how they are suffering because of her.
Skorus counter questions her how she could become a saint and help people when she only watches them suffer to their end and how she could think of doing anything because even when she is kidnapped and surrounded by enemies, she can only wait for help to arrive and that breaks her down into tears.
Shin sees Skorus laughing from his balcony and enjoying the suffering. Shin is able to feel the presence of a few of the people. He asks his party members to help him out in his mission to rescue Hermie, the Holy Maiden, from the clutches of Skorus.

In the upcoming chapter, that is, Chapter 91, Shin and the party members face a lot of obstacles in order to rescue Hermie from the clutches of Skorus, who intends to keep her locked away. But Shin has other plans, and he will definitely not leave the place empty-handed without making sure all of them have escaped, including Hermie.
