You have messed up your life. What do you want to delete from it? Unfortunately, it is just an introduction to the new series, not an option. The latest romance thriller Thai series released this week is about the secrets, complex relationships among the characters, and the need to delete something from their lives.
The main actors of the series include Ice Natara Nopparatayapon (as Too), Nat Kitcharit (as ‘Aim’ Athit Thammani), and Fah Sarika Sathsi (as Lilly). The supporting actors are Aokbab Chutimo (as Orn), Jaonaay Jinjett (as Tong), and Charlette Wasita (as June).
A couple having an extra-marital affair had the power to make someone disappear, and it looked like the storyline belonged to Black Mirror. The series is only for audiences above eighteen because it includes violence and profanity.
The screenwriters Meen Tossaphon Riantong, Claire Jirassaya Wongsutin, and Oh Parkpoom Wongpoom (the screenwriter and debuting director) made sure that the series affected the audience as needed, and the series indeed did.
Delete Plot
When Lilly goes to a supermarket, a mysterious girl asks her to take a photo and gives her a strange device. The girl looks scared and traumatized but refuses to accept anything when Lilly gets concerned about it.
Finally, the girl bravely poses with a smile, Lilly clicks her photo, a bright white light appears, and the girl is gone! It happens within a fraction of seconds. Aim claims to have met Lilly once to interview her before her husband, who gets suspicious about their secret relationship.
Nicha goes to Aim while searching for Orn. She talks Aim about the scandalous video involving him. She wants him to break up with the lady shown in the video, but Aim ends the conversation by saying that he does not love her (Nicha) anymore. Thus, she asks him to get ready to face the press.
Lilly expresses her concern to Aim and hands him the mysterious device that can delete people from our lives. Both Lilly and Aim click their partner’s photos. However, in the next scene, according to the trailer, police find an abandoned car near a bridge and Lilly missing.
None knows where Lilly is. Meanwhile, her husband approaches Aim for the same and asks for the device. Lilly learns more about the mysterious girl she met in the supermarket before she disappears.
To search for the person who met Lilly before she got disappeared. On the other hand, surrounded by guilt, Aim makes a confession and a final decision in the finale episode.
Previously, Netflix had Hunger as the best Thai original series, and now it has Delete.
According to Ice Natara Nopparatayapon, the lead actress, the series puts an impact through realistic action and intense drama. Delete already had a set of skilled and hardworking people. Moreover, the actors learned a lot after immersing themselves in their roles in the series.
Delete Release Date
The Thai series, Delete, got premiered on 28 June 2023 (Wednesday). All forty-one to fifty-four-minutes long eight episodes got released on the same day on Netflix.
