Las Invisibles features an amazing cast of Spanish actors, which includes Lolita Flores, Yoshira Escarrega, Maria Pujalte, Paula Mira, Paula Del Rio, Elena Irureta, and Yael Belicha who are in the roles of the maids in the hotel, struggling to make their living.
Las Invisibles chronicles a group of women best friends who work together on the Mediterranean Coast, where they clean the rooms of a luxurious hotel. Every day they come across various challenges, labor injustice, lesser pay, and rude guests, but they maintain their cool and handle the work diligently. Las Invisibles focuses on the hurdles that earning women face in their lives and how they tackle them.
All women working in the hotel have different personas and aspirations that they want to fulfill in their lives. Espe (Lolita Flores), the main character of Las Invisibles, has worked in the hotel for many years. Espe is the leader of all maids and is very tough when it comes to her work. Even though she hates to share her private life, what we know about her is that she is married to Juan and has a grandson.
Isabel (Maria Pujalte) has worked with Espe in the hotel for 18 years. She has moved in with her brother, but she is never happy with him, so she aspires to have a quiet home where she can spend the rest of her days happily. Isabel also wants early retirement but deep down, she is aware that she has to slog for many years to achieve what she wants. Gladys (Yoshira Escarrega) is a Mexican maid and is smart in every work she does.
About Gladys’ personal life, she has a girlfriend, Alicia, who is also a conservative lawyer. Pilar (Elena Irureta) is the one who has worked for more than 25 years in the hotel and never missed a day serving her guests. Now her only dream is to retire and live the life she always dreamed of. Pilar also aspires to become a dancer, and hopefully, we will see her fulfilling all her wishes.
