Viewers await the next episode to find out Ro Um’s next step. Yohan found out about the cruelty of his mother. Ro Um has lost all the evidence, and her team betrayed her. Moo Young rescued Ro Um and took her back home.
Delightfully Deceitful is the story of Lee Ro Um and Han Moo Young. Han Moo Young is a talented lawyer. He is named ‘Vampire’ by his colleagues for his straight face and cold personality. He is under therapy for being emotional and empathic. Lee Ro Um was gifted with the unique ability to memorise anything. She was charged with arson and murdering her family. For a decade, she was in prison.
Ro Um became a con artist after being released and collecting money. Moo Young gets assigned as Ro Um’s lawyer. They are opposites. Ro Um lacks empathy ability. She wants to find out more about the Geumseong Murder case. She has formed a team to help her. The probation officer, Go Yohan, is in charge of keeping an eye on Ro Um.
Delightfully Deceitful Episode Recap:
Go Yohan visited Moo Young in his office. Moo Young was curious about Ah Yoon Sik’s death and why he was after Lee Ro Um. Yohan tells the story of his dead friend Ah Yoon Sik. Yoon Sik came from a low-income family. His drunk father abused him since childhood. He ran away from his torturous home and became a delinquent. He could have worked with the Jeokmok kids on the insurance frauds.
Moo Young thinks there is a link between Ro Um and Yoon Sik. He concedes to Yohan that his mother was the counsellor at the foundation where children train to become criminals. Yohan was shocked by the disclosure about his mother. He was enraged and returned to see his mother after ten years. He asked his mother, and she did not deny it. She stated that those poor children were born to cause trouble.
Ro Um and her team, Jung Da Jung, Nasa, Ring Go, Yoo Neung and Yoo Il, have planned to steal from the vault of Hyemyung Hotel. They were losing control of their plan when Jang Kyung Ja turned off her phone during a surprise business meeting for a second contract. Jung Da Jung needs to access the phone to get the OTP. Moo Young arrived to help Ro Um by meeting Jang Kyung Ja and tapping into her phone. He sent a fake link to convince her to open her phone so Jung Da Jung could access it.
Ro Um’s plan was working smoothly. Nasa tried to access the vault after Jang Kyung Ja became trapped, and she got out. Unfortunately, Jay arrived. He attacked Ringo and imprisoned him in the locker. Nasa went against Ro Um. He grabbed a red diary along with gold bars and money. The squad attempts to extract Ringo. Ro Um and Nasa fought the vault as Nasa declined to attend to her orders. Jang Kyung Ja arrived with the guards to arrest them.
Jang Kyung Ja drove Ro Um to the location of her parent’s murder. Kyung Ja burned the red diary. All evidence is gone. Ro Um was tied down and abandoned in the forest. Moo Young came across a pen drive. From the data in the pen drive, he learnt that his father was a victim of Jeokmok kids’ scams. The scam destroyed his family. Moo Young was devastated. He still came to save Ro Um from the forest.
