The series is impeccably written, it has great cinematography and editing, and it is shot in the beautiful locations of the Finnish cities and countryside.
If you like police procedural shows like CSI and NCIS with the regional twist of Norse thrillers and with the aesthetics and cinematography that characterizes these kinds of productions, then you shouldn’t want to miss out on Koskinen. Today, we bring you the latest on this series’ third season. You’ll learn what went down in the last episode —spoilers included— where to watch it, and the episode guide.
Koskinen Season 3 Episode 2 Recap
Episode 2 picks up and concludes the murder that the debut episode of this season introduced us to. In it, we’re presented to Rami Vanninen, a crime journalist who has a knack for covering very gore and violent topics and who came to recent notoriety for his reporting. Vanninen was found dead in Filayson, and the murder scene is confusing to the police. Koskinen has an old friend named Hannes Hayhaniemi, who is familiar with Vanninen and asks him for help.
As the police delve into the case of Vanninen, a crime reporter whose death has raised suspicions, they uncover a complex web of violence and death. Clues lead them to a shadowy organization or individual, and as they continue to investigate, they find that Vanninen is onto something much bigger than they ever could have imagined. His archives and notes contain evidence of illicit activities involving human trafficking, drug trafficking, and car theft, all of which seem to be interconnected and point to a ruthless criminal enterprise operating in the shadows.
Slowly but surely, the police piece together a complex trail of criminal activity that points to Koskikeskus. When they arrive on the scene, they find that Vanninen’s investigation had exposed the Estonian mafia’s involvement in these heinous crimes and that they had silenced him to keep their activities hidden from the public eye.
As the investigation continues, the police vow to bring the perpetrators to justice and put an end to the terrible toll of violence and death that has plagued the community for too long.
