Reality Quest Chapter 89 showed Dowan and her friend formulating a plan for people doing illegal deeds. They had been at this for a long while now and had taken down quite a few groups. And this time, they are going after people that worked behind the scenes to put young girls in danger.
Dowan was planning that they should go at it with full force and don’t beat around the bush; his friend wasn’t in favor. For there was no way for them to achieve that without her involvement, and it will get risky for her. She outright said no to this but decided to change her mind when he lost face and wobbled his way out.
It showed how close the two had gotten, or at least how much his friend had gotten close to him, for he was only acting to make sure that he would meet the quest prerequisite and get her to work. If he has one character fault, it would be this; he is quest driven to a great extent.

It will lead to a moment where the crime lackey ends up showing more trust in Dowan’s friend and trying to assure her by taking her somewhere else. And that place will be the place where the main info on the group will be held. This, is turn, will be a great turnout for Dowan, who had gotten a quest, for it cleared to of his objectives. Finding their base of operation and keeping his friend safe.
