The renowned socialite and entrepreneur Paris Hilton collaborated with singer-songwriter Kim Petras to release a new version of Hilton’s 2006 hit single, “Stars Are Blind.” It is titled “Stars Are Blind: Paris’ Version” and was released on June 1, almost 17 years after the original song was released.
Hilton expressed her excitement about the release on Instagram, stating that she is very excited to share that my new version of ‘Stars Are Blind’ featuring her close friend Kim Petras is now available on all streaming platforms. Hilton also shared that the idea for the collaboration came when Petras performed the song at Hilton’s wedding, which prompted them to record a new official version together.
This collaboration is not surprising, as their friendship and support for each other’s music go back several years. In 2017, Hilton appeared in the music video for Petras’ debut song, “I Don’t Want It At All.” Petras has always admired Hilton, describing her as a supportive figure and a “fairy godmother” who believed in her music from the beginning of her career.
