The Stroy of Al Thaman:
Al Thaman is a story of a single mother named Sarah. She is a talented architect searching for a job to help support her family. She has a son with leukaemia since he was an early age. Her close friend Tima recommends her for a position at a prestigious construction firm. Tima asks Sarah to keep her status as a widowed single mother quiet. It might harm her new career.
Zein and Karam are friends and partners of the construction company. Zein is an arrogant and strict boss. He openly expresses his dislike towards women due to his childhood experience. Karam is the total opposite of Zein. Tima and Sarah learn that Zein will conduct Sarah’s interview because Karem is unreachable. Zein gets impressed by her previous work and selects her.
Sarah had landed a job at last and worked hard in the office. Ibrahim, her son’s condition worsened, and he got admitted to the hospital. Sarah had to rush between her meetings and the hospital. It became problematic to handle both at a time. Zein notes Sarah’s lack of focus while working and blames her for taking everything for granted as a woman.
Sarah learns that there is a bone marrow match for her son, but she urgently needs money for the surgery. She doesn’t get any help from banks. She reaches out to Mr Ibrahim, but he declines her offer and doesn’t want to see her face. Her last and only hope was Zein. Zein was ready to help but in exchange for a night with him.
