Hanlim Gym is about a young boy named Yeongha who decides to fight back one day after getting frustrated from being the subject of bullying in school. After Yeongha decides to fight the bullies, this new transfer student realizes that he has the potential to pack a punch. Yeonga quickly climbs up to the top of the school hierarchy, but his pride takes a massive hit when he is challenged in a PVP fight by Kang Suho. After getting bitterly defeated, Yeongha decides to join the PVP games to regain his honor.

In the previous chapter of Hanlim Gym, Lim Gwang Cheon makes a shocking declaration to sell the gym since he is not making any profit from it. Yeongha is extremely shocked when he gets to hear this. While Gwang Cheon is leisurely drinking soju in his office, his daughter barges into him and begins yelling at him for his decision. Once she leaves, the manager goes back to drinking and saying how he will live a life of luxury after selling the gym. When he goes out, Lee Dohyun begins fighting him.

Dohyun tells Gwang Cheon to stop drinking and focus on his family and priorities first.
