The next performance was by Zachariah Smith, who sang Ironic. He wanted to give a huge performance with his body movements but did not. Everything about him was very minimal this week, although the song actually suited him. Alanis says that the best part about him is the liquidity of his songs that she adores him. As for Ed, he thinks Zachariah’s voice is powerful.
The third performance was given by Iam Tongi and Oliver Steele, who paired up for a duet. They decided to perform a Photograph. This makes it their second collab for the season. Previously, we have seen him in the duets round. Ed said that their voice was a match with each other. Alanis was also impressed, saying that she was moved. Luke also appreciated the beautiful harmony in the performance. Next on stage was Haven Madison, who performed the song You Learn. She is just 17 years of age and loves to sing. The judges were impressed by the performance in total.
Later in the episode, we see that Warren comes back on the stage in order to sing Perfect with Wé Ani. This song is a perfect match for his voice, and everyone appreciated the duo. Ed was obviously very happy during the song, and Alanis talked about how they both have a beautiful range. Then we saw Colon Stough come in for the performance.
He has decided to sing Hand in My Pocket for his solo, although he looked kind of uneasy. Thus, Alanis told him to allow himself to be imperfect. This was when he really really let loose and changed the genre of a song casually, making it more country. By doing so, everyone was totally shocked and appreciated the whole performance saying it was everything they wanted.
