Superhuman Battlefield Chapter 52: Recap
The chapter opens up with Seomoon Yeop making some kind of list in his office when he suddenly gets a mysterious phone call. The caller identifies himself as the vice president of the Korean Battle field association, Shim Taeho. Seomoon asks him about the reason why he called him, and so Taeho replies that he has some personal matter to discuss.
He says that Seomoon would already be aware of his son, Seomoon tries to deny it, but he suddenly remembers a guy named Shim Youngsoo who claimed to be the son of some vice president, and so Seomoon agrees with him.
Taeho mentions that he recently learned that his son has been causing some trouble among his teammates. He also adds that he learned that Seomoon personally told coach Baek Jaeho to take Youngsoo off the National team lineup.
Seomoon agrees, and so Taeho continues by recalling his son’s past and how he lacked manners as he was always pampered, but Seomoob stops him and asks him to get straight to the point. Taeho requests Seomoon to properly educate his son. Seomoon tries to decline the request, but Taeho mentions that his son was recently present on his team’s potential release list.
The focus shifts to Youngsoo lying in the street; all beat up. Seomoon tells Youngsoo to learn some manners, which startles Youngsoo, and he asks why Seomoon is in this place. Seomoon asks Youngsoo if he knows why he dragged him into a dark alley where there are no CCTVs which scares Youngsoo as he thinks that Seomoon is going to kill him. He starts to apologize to Seomoon, saying that he didn’t know who he was when the fight happened, but Seomoon doesn’t listen and continues by asking how the news headlines would look.
Youngsoo shouts that he will send a counter article saying that Seomoon Yeop led him into a trap, but Seomoon asks him if anyone would believe him as he doesn’t even have a good public image. He adds that even though he has beaten up a lot of people in his life, the reason he has never been criticized is that he always beats up people who deserve it. Seomoon tells Youngsoo that he will give him one chance but Youngsoo snaps and starts recalling all the things Seomoon has done to him till now, which makes Seomoon angry.
Seomoon asks Youngsoo to watch his attitude and beats him up. Seomoon keeps beating Youngsoo every time he tries to talk back to him until he finally shuts up. Then Seomoon asks Youngsoo if he wants to leave his shitty life and asks him to join YSM. Seomoon explains that soon the news will be out that Youngsoo faced him, and that would attract all kinds of negative comments, but if Youngsoo joined him, then he would come forward and scout him, which would make it clear to the world that Youngsoo has more to offer.
Seomoon says that he met plenty of people like Youngsoo during his battles, and one of them even managed to become the hero of China. Seomoon asks Youngsoo about all his achievements, and he says that he doesn’t have any but Seomoon promises that if Youngsoo was to join him, he would make sure he wins everything. Seomoon hands over his card to Youngsoo and gives him a day to think.
