Station 19 Season 6 Episode 15 Recap
We begin the episode with a scene with Andy and Sullivan having a discussion. There’s a lot of heat between them because Andy doesn’t want their work relationship in jeopardy, while the other one has admiration for Ross as Fire Chief.
There’s a blackmail plot on behalf of Maya to recover her job with some compromising pictures. But that’s all because of Dixon and his doings. Why make such a big deal out of some pictures? Well, it’s part of the plot, isn’t it? After all, those compromising pics had no timestamps on them. Will it work?
The Fire Chief wanted to handle things the way she thought was best. The other women didn’t know that she was going to talk to Dixon, though. Then, we find out that Ross took the pictures to Dixon. His reaction was one of sadness. He thought Maya was more cruel than that, but he was a snake for a reason, and he quickly figured out how to make the new situation work for him.
Useless Threats
Ross tried to threaten the Fire Chief to get some support for him. He warned her that if her colleagues found out she’d given a promotion to a new lieutenant she was romantically involved with, she might lose both her job and the respect of everyone under her charge. It didn’t matter that the promotion preceded their relationship.
Dixon’s selfish intentions are only meant to make him look better in front of everyone else. Moreover, Dixon wanted her to support him in the election, but the Fire Chief would never do that.
Pictures With A Trace
We see Ross attend a union meeting in another scene where she admits to seeing Sullivan. She leaves it to the group to determine her fate but also informs them of Dixon leveraging their relationship against her.
Ross needed help, but the brass wouldn’t support her. Suddenly, an emergency call interrupted their meeting. A firefighter had fallen through a roof and needed their help. As she left the scene, Ross learned the name of the brave hero: Ben.

Some Action
Ben and his colleagues were summoned to a sober living house in response to a raging inferno. A total of nineteen people were quartered in the tiny space that was originally designed for five bedrooms – a recipe for disaster. The cause of the outbreak was traced to June, a supportive counselor and surrogate mother who wanted to fry fish for the residents to commemorate someone’s sobriety milestone.
Out of the nineteen occupants, seventeen escaped the flames with the combined effort of June and the emergency responders. In the end, Fire Chief Ross arrived, only to find Theo, the calm and composed rescuer, in complete control of the situation.
When the second floor of the building fell, Theo urged everyone to evacuate in a kindly manner, albeit leaving Ben and one child behind. Despite the odds stacked against them, only the aforementioned pair managed to escape the ravishing inferno.
Reflection Time
Making hard choices is never easy, especially if it means losing someone. The aftermath of a difficult decision can haunt you for a while. One such tough choice leads Sullivan to receive a call from a union representative. The rep inquired if Sullivan was coerced into dating Ross or promised a promotion if he slept with her.
Unaware of how this information surfaced, Sullivan learned from Ross that she was the one who divulged the details. She admitted how Dixon had been stalking them and trying to extract money from her. Despite Ross risking her own job, Sullivan was quick to judge her and blame her for putting his job on the line.
